Alumni Directory Project
Enhancing Wilberforce University alumnae network is a priority for WU. As an important step in strengthening our connection to alumnae, Wilberforce University has partnered with Publishing Concepts (PCI) and will be undertaking a data verification project and creation of a new alumnae directory. This directory will assist alumnae in engaging with one another and the University.
PCI will be verifying the accuracy of current alumnae data on file and will begin mailing postcards in late 2024 to early 2025. The communication requests alumnae members to call a telephone number to verify or update their alumnae profile on their own. When members call, they will be offered an opportunity to purchase a printed or digital directory as well as Wilberforce University merchandise. Members are under no obligation to purchase anything. Regardless of whether alumnae purchase the directory, Wilberforce University thanks you for updating your information.

I received an email/postcard/phone call from a company asking for my personal information and said they were working with Wilberforce University. Is this a legitimate project?
Yes, this project is legit! Wilberforce University has partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce our new alumnae directory.
PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, TX that has published directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation for over 100 years. This project allows Wilberforce University to receive important updates to our database so we can better serve our alumnae.

If you received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a real, live human being representing the Wilberforce Directory University project. They will verify the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed.
If you received an email with an embedded link, simply click the link to go to the online site, and review your information.
If you did not receive a postcard or email, you may call the dedicated Wilberforce University update line at (888)-839-3703.

How do I know my information will only be used for directory purposes?
Member privacy is held with the utmost importance to Wilberforce University, and PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI for the publication of the directory will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the directory and except as required by court order or law.
When will I receive my directory?
The total duration of the project from initial outreach to directory release is approximately 12 months.
