Alumni Oral History Project

Enhancing the alumi network is a priority for King's College. As an important step in strengthening our connection to alumni, King's College has partnered with Publishing Concepts (PCI) and will be undertaking a data verification project and creation of a new alumni directory. This oral history project will assist alumni in engaging with one another and the school. PCI will be verifying the accuracy of current alumni data on file and will begin mailing postcards and send emails in mid 2025. The communication requests alumni to call a telephone number to verify or update their alumni profile on their own. When alumni call, they will be offered an opportunity to purchase a printed or digital directory as well as exclusive King's College merchandise.

Alumni are under no obligation to purchase anything. Regardless of whether alumni purchase the directory, King's College thanks you for updating your information. For more information and Frequently Asked Questions about this project, please see below.

I received an email/postcard/phone call from a company asking for my personal information and said they were working with King's College. Is this a respectable project?

Yes, this project is legit! King's College has partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce our new alumni directory. PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, TX that has published directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation for over 100 years.

Yes, in a few different ways:

Updated Information – allows us to effectively communicate with and engage alumni. Legacy – sharing and collecting stories preserves the history of our school.

I would like to verify or update my information. How can I do this?

If you received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a real, live human being representing the King's College. They will verify the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed.

If you received an email with an embedded link, simply click the link to go to the online site, and review your information. If you did not receive a postcard or email, you may call the dedicated King's College update line at 866-467-9216

If you are living internationally or are unable to call the update line, please email PCIservice@publishingconcepts.com. PCI will send you a personalized link to update your information.

When will I receive my oral history project?

The total duration of the project from initial outreach to directory release is approximately 12 months.
